29th October 2011 - The Swan Hotel, Bibury
A beautiful drive over to The Swan to meet Brooke, her sister and Mum. This was the first time I had meet Brooke as she organised the wedding from Kent then all her family travelled over from Australia! What an amazing place for show the beautiful English countyside.
I thought I spotted a car I knew in the car park so I wasn't surprised when Sharon from Truly Gorgeous was in the room doing all the bridal hair.
Natural makeup was the name of the day, so I used soft grey's and plums for Brooke. Golds and greens for sister Sky and natural beiges for Mum!

22nd October 2011 - Eastington Hall
This morning was my first trip over to Eastington Hall, wow what a huge room for getting ready in!! Fab for makeup artists or hairdressers as they've set up a counter for all our stuff!
Today Victoria was getting married, I was doing makeup for Victoria, her 2 sisters and her Mum. They'd had their hair done in Bristol and travelled up with a mountain for stuff to get married at the Hall.
It was a lovely relaxed morning until her sisters children appeared and the chaos for small people getting excited took over!
For Victoria's makeup, she wanted a dark defined eye look so I used Pure Anada toasted almond over for lid, added Coast into the socket line and a deeper brown to the outside corner. I used brown/black liner on top and lower lashes and finished with lots and lots of mascara as she loves to wear as much as possible!

15th October 2011 - Cheltenham
Over to Cheltenham this morning to see Anna, her Mum and bridesmaid. It was going to be a day of driving for the bridal party as Anna was getting married in Hardwicke, Gloucester then the reception was at Tewkesbury Park Hotel.
When I arrived, Anna was still at Cream hairdressers in Cheltenham having her hair blow dryed for her big day. It really was the most perfect bob!
So I started with Emma her bridesmaid, who was wearing a beautiful purple dress and we chose warm brown tones to compliment her blue eyes.
For Anna's eye makeup, she wanted a smoky look so I used Pure Anada Cafe Latte, mixed with Close to Cocoa then added a deep brown to the outside of her eye for extra depth. I used brown/black liner on top and lower lashes and finished with plenty of mascara!

8th October 2011 - Thornbury Castle
Down to the amazing Thornbury Castle this morning to meet Abbie and her bridesmaids.
I've only been to the castle once before and then I was in the darkest of rooms but today Abbie had the Henry VIII room which had an huge 4 poster bed, with large windows letting the light flood in.
Chris Fordham was styling hair and after the very early start yesterday he was relieved to have a 9am start time. The theme was vintage 40's style, Abbie had a lovely 3/4 length dress and the bridesmaids wore classic dress. One in navy and the other in deep green, then they wore berries in their hair to tie the looks together. Sarah Cameron was the photographer today so I know I'm in for some great images of Abbie.
For makeup, I used Jane Iredale Oyster as a base with a Pure Anada Close to Cocoa as the accent, then added a nice thick line of liner with a little 40's flick! Cheeks were Abbie own Bobbi Brown berry colour and lips were also a Bobbi Brown colour. The bridesmaids I did a smoky brown look for one and a plum smoky look - classic and beautiful.

Calcot Manor at Tetbury
Wow, now this is where you need to head for a evening of relaxation!
I went on Friday night with my best friend Jo, we arrived at 5.30 and were greeted with our itinerary and handed robes, slippers, towels and a drink. After filling in the forms about treatment and ordering drink for the hot tub, we set off to enjoy the place.
The pool is on the ground floor so we had a nice swim before heading upstairs to use the relaxation area and steam rooms. At 7.00 we headed out into the darkness for an hour in the hot tub drinking hot chocolate (you can have wine!!) with cookies. This really is the highlight of the place and they'd lite an outside log fire and had candle around the tub! Then at 8.00 we had our organic facials - heaven!
To finish off the evening, we had a table reserved at The Gumstool Inn
- lush food!
£70 for the evening spa, with 30 minute treatment and a £15
voucher towards your meal at the Inn - bargain.

7th October 2011 - Clearwell Castle
Off to Clearwell Castle to meet Charlotte, her 4 bridesmaids and Mum this morning for her wedding..
Team Charlotte as they've been known as while planning the event had been up early for Chris's 6am start. I arrived at 8.30 at the cottage and started makeup for the first 3 bridesmaids then we moved over to the castle at 11.00 to finish. Those stairs up to the bridal suite are a killer with our kit bags!
For makeup today, all the bridesmaids had natural colours of creams and golds. Jacki, Charlotte's very glamorous Mum, had Jane Iredale Allure eyeshadow with a touch of a dark chocolate in the outside corner. For Charlotte, we made sure her skin had plenty of warmth as she's naturally so pale so I used Pure Anada light bronzer and Jane Iredale Whisper blusher. For eyes I used a cream base, Pure Anada Close to Cocoa in the socket line and Black Tie patted onto the outside corner to add some depth.

1st October 2011 - Stanton House Hotel, Swindon
What a freaky day for October, the sun was shining and it's was hotter than a summers day!
Today, me and Chris were down in Swindon for Julie's wedding at Stanton House Hotel, which has a church in it's grounds where Julie was having a Naval service!
Julie is one of my most organised brides and we had done her trial 11 months before her wedding!! Then we had met again so I could do a trial for her sister-in-law and mother-in-law.
Purple was the colour of today, all the bridesmaids wore cadbury's purple dress with little jackets (can't see they stayed on long in the heat).
For makeup, her bridesmaids went for smoky greys and Julie had smoky purple! A colour I hardly ever use but looked great with her dark brown eyes.
