31 October - Swindon

Halloween maybe spooky for some but not for Danielle who got married today. Danielle was a bridesmaid for my bride Emma, in May. This time Emma was one of Danielle's bridesmaids so it was lovely to see her again. Today's theme was red, the bridesmaid wore beautiful red dress with black sashes and the flowers had a autumnal look. Leaving Danielle house at 11.45, I dashed home for a quick bite to eat and got changed ready to attend a family wedding at Cheltenham Boys College then party into the night!

24 October - Manor House Hotel, Moreton in Marsh

Today, I was in the cotswold town on Moreton in Marsh to visit Carly and her sister for Carly's wedding. Carly had suffered a stroke 9 months ago but it was bearly noticable today. She's been working extremely hard on practising walking down the aisle and I have no doubt she did it perfectly! Carly had picked an empire line floatly wedding dress which was beautiful and her sister was in a deep purple dress which matched in style. I can't wait to see the wedding photo's. I'll be seeing Carly again next May as her sister Jemma is getting married too and has booked me for their makeup too.

17 October - Hatherley Manor

A nice easy day for me today! After watching my son play football, he's not really improving - bless! I had a 5 minute drive to Hatherley Manor to do makeup for Sandra. Chris Fordham was just finishing Sandra hair when I got there. She had kept her hair straight and Chris had added some set curls to swipe it half up. Chloe, Sandra's daughter, was definitely going to steal the limelight today as she really is the cutest little thing!

16 October - Greenway Hotel

On to our second wedding today at the beautiful Greenway Hotel. This was the first time I had been into the bedrooms at The Greenway and they're amazing. Huge four poster bed, lovely settees and a bathroom that you can hold a party in! Chris had already set Paula's hair into curlers when I arrived, so I started on her makeup straight away and finished the look after Chris had finished her hair. It was a very intimate day with only 8 at the wedding but it was very lively affair while we were getting Paula ready with me, Chris, Jan from Blenheim Photography and her assistant plus Paula sister enjoying the fun.

16 October - Sapperton

A early start this morning to visit Ellen, her Mum and bridesmaid at Sapperton by Cirencester. After yesterday terrible weather it was great to see the sun shining through the clouds. Chris Fordham did Ellen's and her sister hair when looking totally fabulous. Ellen was getting married at 12.00 so it was all hands needed to get her into her dress on time. Ellen was truly a sparkling bride, from sparkly eye shadow to jewelled veil she really looked fabulous.

9 October - Clearwell Castle

Today I was in the Forest of Dean at the beautiful Clearwell Castle to do makeup for Phillipa, her 2 bridesmaids and Mum. It was a early start for Phillippa as the local duck was up and quacking at 6.30 this morning! When I arrived they were leisurely eating breakfast after a girly evening the night before. Makeup and hair ups was a first for all of them but being true girls they loved being pampered! The bridesmaids were in slate grey long dresses with silver detailing so we choose a smokey look to set off their eyes. Phillippa's dress was slightly grecian in style which suited her perfectly.

3rd October - Pittville Pump Rooms

You would have never realised a wedding was going to take place when I arrived at Emily's parents house on Saturday. It was totally chilled out and Dad was reading the paper relaxing in the lounge while I made up Emily and her Mum. The colour theme was purple and Bumblebeez florists had done a fab job on her bouquet.I left Emily with her photograhers and drove over to Charlton Kings to see Becky who's getting married at Berkeley Castle in December.
