17th November 12 - The Rectory, Crudwell

I've driven through Crudwell many times but this was the first time I'd been into The Rectory. Wow, I wasn't disappointed it's a stunning country manor house.

I arrived in the Leckhampton Room and Sam's hairdresser was already working her way through everyone's hair. I set up shop on the other side of the room with views over the garden. I look out of some fabulous windows!! It was a great, relaxed morning. I started with Sam's mum in law to be who wanted a very natural look as she doesn't normally wear much makeup. For Sam's bridesmaid. we opted for golds/browns to suit their blue eyes.

For Sam's makeup, I used Jane Iredale foundation in Ivory and set with Laura Mercier powder, oyster and golds for her eyes and lined with dark brown liner, apricot blush with pop of sparkle to highlight her cheeks. Finished with a pinky gloss.

10th November 12 - Clearwell Castle, Forest of Dean

Hooray it was Jane's wedding day!! Having first meet at school then re-meeting on Facebook 3 years ago, it was now the big day for Jane!!!

We started over in the cottage when Jane and her bridesmaids had spend the night, Chris Fordham had already added rollers to everyone's hair and was getting into the spirit of the morning. I was doing makeup for Jane's Mum, Mum in law to be and 2 bridesmaids. So with a quick set up of my brushes I set to work in creating the looks for the girls. At 11.00, we moved over to the castle where Chris finished off Jane's hair and I re-created her natural look while admiring her 'Wizard of Oz' shoes. Sparkly red and just waiting to be clicked 3 times!

For Jane's makeup, I used Jane Iredale tinted foundation and a touch of Purepressed in Warm Sienna, for her eyes I kept to a neutral palette of creams, taupes and browns. Lined her top lashes, added lashings of mascara and individual false lashes to open out her eyes.

3rd November - Matara Centre, Tetbury

A morning at The Matara Centre, with the lovely Laura, her Mum and bridesmaid. Chris Fordham had already arrived and they were partying in the Zen rooms, well not enough light for me so I set up in the next bedroom and have my own party in there!

What I love about the Matara Centre they make it so personal. Laura was getting married with their black labrador walking the rings down the aisle then after the service it turned into a naming ceremony for their little boy!!

Laura has the most amazing cheekbones and really was a pleasure to make up! For her makeup, I kept it light with Jane Iredale tinted moisturiser. Shades of soft browns and golds with chocolate brown liner and lashings of mascara. Copperwind blush for her cheeks with a touch of NARS highlighter and her a nude peachy gloss on her lips.

2nd November 2013 - Upton St Leonards, Gloucester

Over to see the very excited Sam at her parents house in Upton St Leonards!! Early start for me as I arrived at 8am for make Sam look even more beautiful than normal, for her wedding at the local church then to Egypt Mills for the reception.

I'd already seen Sam this week for a pedicure and eye brow shape on Wednesday. As well as getting married they'd just moved into a new house I couldn't believe she was so organised!

For Sam's makeup, I created a smoky eye look with taupes, chocolate and gunmetal tones, then strong eyeliner. Apricot/Pink blush and a touch of highligher and her own nude lipgloss!
