22nd July - Cowley Manor

I'd been looking forward to visiting Cowley Manor and wow, it's really is amazing!

Arriving early, I was able to have a walk around the grounds and took some lovely snaps of the manor(see my facebook page). Lisa and 'husband to be' had chosen the venue for it's unique style and it was certainly going to be an amazing day.

When I arrived at room 17 (The best room) with it's on terrace, Lisa's bridesmaids were having their nails painted. So I set up my area and planned the order with Lisa as today I had 4 bridesmaids, Mum and Lisa.

Chris Fordham arrived at 10.30 as he was styling Lisa's and 2 bridesmaids hair. For makeup we decided on silver/soft plums for the bridesmaids to go with their soft purple dresses and Lisa wore smokey brown eyes with plum eyeliner, with soft pink lips.

17th July - Luckington Court in Wiltshire

A special day all round today as my son was celebrating his birthday so we were up at 6am opening presents!

After a quick breakfast, the boys were having a fry up! I travelled over to the amazing Luckington Court which was chosen by Victoria and husband to be as it was the Bennet's home in the BBC adaptation of Jane Austen's 'Pride and Prejudice' with Colin Firth. How romantic!

It was a busy morning with 5 bridesmaids, Mum and Victoria to get ready. Chris Fordham was styling Victoria's hair and as usually made a beautiful job adding cream orchids and an Jane Austen cameo set onto a hairpin which just finished off the look.

Victoria decided on smokey grey eyes teamed with pale pink lips and I know she would have looked stunning in her wedding dress!

10rd July - Queens Hotel

Another hot day was forecast for Lindsay's wedding at the Queens Hotel in Cheltenham, after the wedding they were moving onto a barn for the reception.

Lindsay was getting married at 11.00 so with 4 makeup's to do I was on a tight timetable. To my surprise, I was let into the room by Charlotte from Cream of Cheltenham who's one of the Mum's in my son's class. So while Charlotte was finishing Lindsay's hair, I started on her first bridesmaids makeup, they was wearing purple dresses and as she had deep brown eyes we decided on silver/purple eyes to complement the dresses.

Lindsay has been working really hard to create the wedding of her dreams, with lavender as a theme the family have been growing plants for the tables decorations, her bridesmaid had made the bouquets and she'd bagged a bargain dress at Dragonfly Contemporary Designs in Cheltenham which was just perfect for her figure.

I added the finishing touches of roses to Lindsay's hair at 10.40 then the call came from the wedding co-ordinator that they were ready! So having to still pack my bags, this was the first time I had left after the bride!

9rd July - Stroud

A lovely sunny morning as I headed over to Stroud to meet Jenni, her bridesmaid and Mum.

Jenni lives in the most ideallic county lane in Stroud and I was amazed at the views looking across the valley. She was getting married at Bisley Church before heading over to one of my favourite venues Kingcote Barn. Her Mum had been hard at work sewing table runner for the venue, making it truly unique feel for Jenni.

It was a very county feeling wedding today with the bridesmaids in soft blue and wearing 'love in the mist' flowers in their hair. I created soft natural looks for all of them using Pure Anada mineral makeup.

3rd July - Frenchay, Bristol

Another early start to visit Victoria, her 4 bridesmaids and Mum. Victoria was getting married at her local church before driving over to the amazing Clearwell Castle for her reception.

With 4 bridesmaids, I was expecting a manic morning but it was lovely and calm. I worked in the newly decorated conservatory (Victoria's Dad has been working hard for months to ensure everything was finished) while her hairdresser worked in the lounge.

The theme today was navy and yellow, with Victoria's bridesmaids in beautiful navy dresses and holding bouquets containing lemon and yellow roses. For their eye makeup, I used toasted almond base and contoured with cedar rose then added a touch of celestrial which is a beautiful golden sparkle. Victoria loves pinks, so I used pixie pink as her base and again contoured with cedar rose. All the girls loved their eyeliner so after adding that, I finished with lashing of mascara.

2nd July - Coln St Aldwyns

With the weather nice and cool this morning, I had a early start to visit Kate, her Mum and bridesmaid. Kate got married at the church in Fairford and had the reception back at her parents farm. This was a weekend of celebrations as they would be having the wedding reception today then a black and white ball tomorrow evening to continue the partying. Kate was very nervous but a bottle of calms was on hand to get her through the ceremony!

Kate was wearing an beautiful dress from Dragonfly Contemporary Designs in Cheltenham and I'd given her a smokey grey look to her eyes. Her bridesmaid wore soft lemon dresses with a bow which Kate's Mum had tied perfectly! They'd had a totally unique cake made which will have been the talk of the day!
